How direct billing works

Health insurance is compulsory for Dubai residents, and most plans cover clinic visits. If your plan is billed directly, you pay only your co-pay at reception and we send the rest of the bill to your insurer. We need your insurance card and Emirates ID to check your cover electronically in minutes.

Pre-approvals

Some plans need pre-approval for physiotherapy sessions and some procedures and tests. We send the request for you with the doctor’s report and usually hear back within 24 to 48 hours. If the approval is delayed, you can pay yourself or postpone the procedure.

Pay and claim

If your insurer is not billed directly, we give you a detailed invoice and a medical report so you can claim from your insurer and be refunded under your plan’s terms.

Visitors to Dubai

Visitors are welcome on self-pay or travel insurance; we issue the invoice and report in Arabic or English for you to send to your insurer.

  • Emirates IDOr your passport if you are visiting.
  • Insurance cardValid, on paper or in your insurer’s app.
  • Your medicines and reportsA list of your medicines and any recent tests help your doctor.
